DOWNLOADING MUSIC! 11/11/2009 For the rookies among us....enjoy! Make a hard copy of these tips: 1. SELECT EACH FILE ONE BY ONE. 2. CHOOSE "SAVE" FILE. 3. SELECT "MY DOCUMENTS" LOCATED ON DRIVE C. 4. SELECT "MY MUSIC". 5. EACH FILE WILL ASK IF YOU WANT TO OPEN THE FILE OR CLOSE. CHOOSE "CLOSE". (Do not be impatient at this point. Some of these files are several megabites in size. Wait until the download of that file reads 'DOWNLOAD COMPLETE' before downloading to the next file.) 6. ONCE ALL FILES HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED, YOU ARE READY TO BURN YOUR CD. 7. PLACE A BLANK CD-R (Or whatever version your CD player takes) INTO YOUR COMPUTER'S CD PLAYER (Your computer's CD player must have the capability to write CD's.) 8. OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER. 9. SELECT DRIVE C..THE FOLDER "MY DOCUMENTS"..AND SELECT "MY MUSIC". 10. SELECT EACH OF THE FILES YOU HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED, COPY THEM AND PAST THEM TO YOUR CD PLAYER (Usually Drive D). 11. A NOTICE WILL INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE FILES READY TO BE WRITTEN TO YOUR CD. 12. SELECT THE NOTICE AND THEN SELECT "WRITE FILES". 13. SELECT "AUDIO CD". 14. SELECT BURN (Some versions use the word COPY) WHEN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER COMES UP. 15. YOUR COMPUTER WILL THEN BURN THE CD AND TELL YOU WHEN IT IS FINISHED. YOU NOW HAVE A COPY OF ALL THE SONGS YOU CAN PLAY IN A CD PAYER THAT PLAYS MP3'S! PRINTING THE SHEET MUSIC: The above instructions are for all the files EXCEPT the sheet music. Do not save the sheet music file to the CD! When you download it to MY MUSIC, save it and then OPEN and PRINT it from your computer. Got it? Now, go get it!!!! |
