G.R.I.N.* MAKING GOD SMILE"

G.R.I.N. features a cheerful visual theme using the ever popular "Smiley Face" character. He smiles from every corner reminding everyone that our Christian lives are filled with happiness and delight in the Lord when we take time to pray. Everything elementary teachers need to organize this series is included in one notebook filled with scheduling suggestions, decorating ideas, complete lesson plans and more for thirteen weekly one hour sessions.

Students gather at SUNNY DAY OPENING to get acquainted, sing and organize for the morning. G.R.I.N. BIBLE SHOP is a Bible story center where students hear how prayer makes God smile. ACROSS THE SMILES CAFE is a snack/memorization activity center. Serve a simple snack and learn a scripture verse at the same time. REJOICE IN THE LORD FUN CENTER is filled with kid styled activities (craft and game).

Weekly themes include: CALL HOME!, DON'T WORRY, TALK TO GOD, WHERE ARE YOU LORD?, ACTS OF PRAYER, NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I'VE SEEN, DANGEROUS DAN THE PRAYIN' MAN, TWO MEN/TWO PRAYERS, IS GOD NEAR?, SOUNDS OF SILENCE, PROMISES OF PRAYER, THE DISCIPLE'S PRAYER, POP UP PRAISE, MAKING GOD SMILE.

G.R.I.N. is Christ centered and light hearted. Elementary groups learn about God's devotion and constant presence in an atmosphere of joy. They also discover their personal responsibility for prayer while maturing in their Christian faith.
