STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT CREATION FROM GOD'S WORD. THEY BECOME OBSERVERS AND PARTICIPANTS IN AN EXCITING CREATION ADVENTURE.
THE LEARNING CENTER: The seven days of Creation are featured in this decorated area. Topics include: In The Beginning, God...Who Is God Anyway?, Let There Be Light and There Was Light, God Made the Heavens and The Earth, Veggies, Somewhere Out There...Sun, Moon, Stars, Planets, Fishsticks and Birdbaths, Let There Be a Zoo and Even a Zookeeper, Gone Fishin' Or How to Rest With Style, Living In Eden/This Is Your Life Adam and Eve, Leaving Eden or How to Get Out of Town Fast.
SURPRISE SHOPPE: THE GARDEN OF EDEN PROJECT--Students focus on another aspect of the creation story, the Garden of Eden. They add to their Garden room each week to create fish, animals, flowers and trees making their garden especially beautiful. When the garden is complete, Adam and Eve come for a visit. Last, but not least, students are visited Week #11 by an angel with a flaming sword who forbids them to enter their garden. Students try to understand God's purpose for creation, Adam and Eve's responsibility to creation and the temptation and fall of man. Our goal is to create such a vivid picture of the Garden of Eden story that each student will carry this memory with them into adulthood.
CLOSENCOUNTERSINGERS: Songs about Creation are suggested from "Great Bib Praise For A Great Big God" and "All The Best Songs For Kids, 230 Songs".
