Earth's International Olympic motto is "Swifter, Higher, Faster". God's glory goals for His followers are to head for heaven while experiencing a glorious life on earth. Why, it's almost heavenly! Everything elementary teachers need to organize thirteen weeks is included in one notebook filled with scheduling suggestions, decorating ideas, complete lesson plans and more for one hour weekly sessions.
Students enter a gold and silver heavenly Olympic atmosphere where they visit GATES OF GLORY OPENING to sing and organize their small groups. Individual groups travel to GLORY BE! STORY TIME to hear Bible stories and discover the wonderful things God has provided to assure us a safe journey through this life as we mature in Him. THE GLORY GAMES is a fun game time where Heavenly Olympics games are played just for fun. CROWNING GLORY CAFE is a snack/scripture verse area that may turn out to be a favorite gathering spot for kids and teachers.
Weekly themes include: THE GLORY OF GOD, THE GLORY OF JESUS, THE GLORY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE GLORY OF SALVATION, THE GLORY OF OBEDIENCE, THE GLORY OF SHARING CHRIST, THE GLORY OF GIVING, THE GLORY OF SERVING GOD, THE GLORY OF GOD'S WORD, THE GLORY OF PRAYER, THE GLORY OF ABUNDANT LIFE, THE GLORY OF HEAVEN.
Week #13 is reserved for THE GLORY GATHERING, a grand celebration of Sunday School, Heaven and life in Jesus. Include the whole congregation and watch the excitement that bubbles up in everyone!
