JESUS THE MAN FROM GALILEE is a thirteen week Sunday School alternative designed for teens (grade 7-12) who enjoy food, fellowship and Bible study in a fun filled, casual atmosphere. The program features a full classroom breakfast lovingly served by teachers and assistants.
Everything the teacher needs to organize this thirteen week series is included in one notebook filled with scheduling suggestions, menus, complete lesson plans and more for one hour sessions.
Breakfast is followed by gentle table activities where students interact with the group and share their life experiences. Bible lessons teach human qualities Jesus displayed during His thirty three years on earth. Students are challenged to focus on Jesus as man and as God. They are presented with an opportunity to accept Christ or to rededicate their lives to Him. Three Sundays are set aside to host VIP guests who share breakfast and the story of their personal Christian journey.
Lessons Include: GALILEE, THE MESSIAH'S HEART, THE KID, TEACHER ON THE HILL, THE SHEPHERD, FAMILY TROUBLE, THE HEALER, BETHANY FRIENDS, THE SERVANT, RISEN SAVIOR.
WHY FOOD? Something amazing happens when food enters the picture. Kids come! They talk about what is being served. There is a rustle of excitement as they chat and choose the foods they enjoy. They tell friends about breakfast in Sunday School and invite friends and relatives to attend. These ideas work! Create a series of events for your teens that will never be forgotten--even when they are "old and gray"!
