Treat your elementary Sunday School students to thirteen weeks of learning centers filled with stories, games and crafts based on the life of Jesus. All students participate in THE BRIGHT LIGHT OPENING before dividing into small learning center groups. The groups rotate to three lively activities. PLUG IN STORY TIME features Bible stories about Jesus being the Light and Life of the world. CANDLEPOWER CRAFTS is a fifteen minute "quicky" craft time where a small take home memento is made. LIGHTNING FUN AND GAMES includes purpose driven activities that encourage laughter and skill.
Weekly themes include: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD, THIS IS YOUR LIFE, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, TURN ON YOUR HEART LIGHT, STEP INTO THE SONSHINE, YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE, LIGHTEN UP!, LIFE WITH FATHER, THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE, KEEP IT LIGHT, LIFE AFTER LIFE, REFLECTIONS OF THE LIGHT.
Week #13 is reserved for a grand party! CELEBRATION OF LIFE AND LIGHT PARTY DAY. Why? Our children are bombarded on every side with activities and events that pull them from church. Everything seems like fun--except Sunday School! Make students feel that Sunday School is THE place to be on Sunday morning. Take care of their childlike need for fun and excitement and they will reward you with their attendance and attention during more serious discussion times. Begin planning today.
